Rawalpindi Police seize 20 kg opium in major crackdown

Rawalpindi Police Conduct Major Operation, Arrest Drug Smuggler and Recover Large Quantity of Opium

In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Station House Officer ( SHO ) Police Station Bani and his team conducted a major operation, resulting in the arrest of a drug smuggler and the recovery of a substantial amount of opium.

The accused, identified as Muhammad Zubair, was found in possession of 20 kilograms of opium.

During the operation, Bani police intercepted a suspicious rickshaw and recovered a large quantity of opium. The accused, Muhammad Zubair, confessed to supplying drugs to educational institutions and various areas of the city.

The police have taken the accused into custody and are investigating the chain of supply. Further arrests of accomplices and facilitators are expected.
