Rawalpindi : PHA starts planting saplings on city roads, green belts

Rawalpindi : The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has initiated a plantation drive in Rawalpindi city, aiming to enhance its beauty and achieve afforestation goals.

The drive focuses on planting saplings along green belts, highways and parks.

According to the PHA spokesperson, the initiative is being taken on the special instructions of the Director General PHA.

The spokesperson stated that flower and plants are being planted on highways and green belts to make the city more attractive.

PHA is also collaborating with schools, colleges, and civil society in a joint plantation campaign.

Special targets have been set for this week as part of the ongoing drive.

The PHA’s efforts aim to ensure the city’s beauty while achieving plantation goals, making Rawalpindi a more beautiful and sustainable place.
